A movie poster for a movie that doesn’t exist yet. Harnessing the power of AI to generate s visuals, my movie poster design for "The Secret History" combines these images using Photoshop. This captivating book tells the gripping story of six college students whose tenuous bonds and experiments with ancient rituals lead to a tragic death and a subsequent cover-up.

TITLE
The movie poster was created using assets generated with AI and composited in Photoshop. The story centers on a tense scene where the main characters are in pursuit in the woods on a chilly evening. In Photoshop, these images were merged and enhanced with gradients and color balance adjustment layers to produce the final poster.
I chose the woods as the backdrop for the main characters to emphasize its significance in one of the plot’s pivotal scenes, where the students carry out Henry’s plan to eliminate Bunny. This eerie and ominous setting enhances the tension and foreboding atmosphere that permeates their dark deed. The dense, shadowy forest not only reflects the characters' internal conflicts and moral ambiguity but also serves as a symbolic representation of their descent into darkness. For the title, I selected the Roller Coaster typeface for its classical and scholarly aesthetic, which complements the intellectual and mysterious themes of the work. This typeface effectively conveys the sophisticated and contemplative atmosphere characteristic of the dark academia genre.
